Pay by Link
In addition to paying your invoices at the practice or by direct credit, we are introducing Pay by Link.
Pay by Link allows you to pay your outstanding account online, using your credit or visa debit card via a secure banking link. The link will be sent to you by one of our administration team via text or email and will look like this: (https://paybylink.medeor.co.nz/paybylink?code=……..)
The link will take you to a summary of your outstanding account where you will have the option to pay part or all of the amount due. There are no additional fees for using Pay by Link. For more information, please ask our receptionist next time you visit the practice or read more here.
Contactless payment/Credit Card surcharge
A credit card surcharge of 2% will soon be introduced for all contactless and credit card transaction payments, made at the practice. Signage will advise when this charge has been introduced. You will still have the option to use your card without incurring this transaction fee by inserting or swiping your card through the Eftpos machine.
Staff Updates
Nelson
It is with a heavy heart that we confirm the departure of Dr Caroline Wright, who has been an integral part of the Nelson City Medical Centre for the past 10 years. Dr Caroline has moved south with her family, and while we miss her dearly, we wish her all the best in her new endeavours.
Dr Maria Hulleman has stepped back from regular work from mid-May to take the time to focus on her young family. Maria will pop up from time to time as she continues to support NCMC in a locum capacity.
We are now pleased to introduce two wonderful new doctors to replace Caroline and Maria; Dr Tiger Jee who has recently joined the Nelson practice will take over the care of most of Maria’s patients. Tiger comes to us with a wealth of experience in GP, hospital and international volunteer medical placements. Dr Jee offers consultations in English, Korean and Filipino and will be consulting across both Nelson and Titoki.
Dr Struan Clark joined us on Monday June 17th and will take over the care of Caroline’s patients. Dr Clark is returning to Nelson/Tasman from the deep south, following 6 years in Dunedin and previously 22 years in Golden Bay. We are confident that his skills and experience will greatly benefit the medical centre and our patients.
Due to the above GP changes, Caroline and Maria’s patients will now be assigned to their new Doctor. You will be able to check or discuss this when you make your next appointment.
Titoki
Dr Arwen Mohr has stepped back from GP work to focus on her special interest in Skin Cancer medicine and Gynaecology, Dr Mohr will now run monthly clinics out of our Nelson location (125 Collingwood St). Please contact either practice if you wish to book your next skin check with Arwen.
Dr Tiger Jee will be working at Titoki supporting the practice and helping to provide care to Arwen and Susie’s patients in the short term.
Dr Lindsey Burwell is now providing a telehealth clinic on Thursday afternoons for convenient phone consultations, please contact reception to make bookings.
Dr Robert Peterson and Dr Kynan Bazley remain at NCMC – Titoki.
Due to the above changes to GP rosters, some patients may be assigned to a different Doctor. You will be able to check or discuss this when you make your next appointment.
All our team information is on this website for you, including what days our clinicians are available for appointments.
We understand that change can be unsettling, please rest assured that we are committed to providing you with the same high-quality care and service that you have come to expect from us. If you have any questions or concerns regarding these staff changes, please do not hesitate to reach out.
Thank you for your continued trust and support as we navigate these transitions together.
Warm regards,
The Team @ Nelson and Titoki
